Tea Island Resort

Loved the stay here. Utmost clean room. Comfy beds. The view of the lake is gorgeous. Check in was friendly and helpful. Parking spot right out front of room. My only dilemma was…… the owners have kayaks, paddle boats and beach chairs to sit close to lake but the walk down the steep hill is pretty scary. Would love to see the owners add on stairs or a Rail to hold on to going down so I could walk down and enjoy all those wonderful things. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was AMAZING! The check in was smooth and easy, our room was spacious, clean, and nicely updated. Kathleen at the front desk was kind and helpful. We were able to use any of the watercraft at our leisure as it wasn't really peak season so there were very few people out and about at the resort. It was a beautiful spot, had everything we needed, and was a great home away from home for a few days.

Clean, tidy, convenient. Private beach and sun deck make the shore area very enjoyable for people of all ages. Chalet room was roomy and comfortable.

Great resort. Like all the resorts up here, the rooms are basic, but they have everything you need. Everything is well kept. And the property is fabulous. You’re here for the lake and they have an excellent beach front with great amenities. Everything is clean, it’s quiet and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable.

I didn't actually stay at the resort. I visited some friends who were staying there. But let me just say that I wish I had been staying there. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owners seem to be quite nice people and very friendly. They have many things to keep everyone busy and having fun. Like water sports, badminton, corn hole and many others. I would certainly recommend Tea Island Resort to anyone who would wants a great place to go for vacations, and to get away from the grind of life.

A highly recommended place! The rooms are very cozy, the view of the lake is truly wonderful, and the service is top-notch, especially from Juanita. I recommend it 100%.

We enjoyed a lovely stay over three nights. The location on the water and walking distance were perfect. The use of kayaks, my first time, cleanliness inside and out were noticed and appreciated. As was the obvious attention to quality overall, we relaxed and had a great vacation! Thank you!

Loved the house we rented for a few days ,but they need to fix the broken vertical (very impractical) blinds in the bedroom with 2 beds , we could’ve hung sheets over them but didn’t want to break what was already broken even further . we just used an alternate room . Very nice facility with gorgeous views and a beautifully maintained beach area ! Furnished sitting on gorgeous dock facing Tea Island .Coffee provided was excellent . Full fridge , microwave, plates & cutlery . Excellent shower water pressure but needs a grab bar or two & a bath mat .. those suction cup grab bar things would work well. Very nice and it’s quiet too . We drove to get to the village .
